Each training session is described in detail with specific heart rates and / or power outputs. Analysis of training or racing files (using Training Peaks) is planned, and further adaptations to the training program are made based on this analysis.
During this period, a cyclist needs mental and physical regeneration, but this does not mean complete rest, and they should therefore carry out various activities to maintain a good level of fitness and to start building a base for the following season. An overall plan will then be drawn up so the cyclist arrives at the beginning of the cycling season in optimal shape.
