Enrico Licini was born in Feltre (BL) on December 13, 1984.
Since childhood, he’s been passionate about endurance sport, practicing swimming, Nordic skiing and mountain biking in a diligent manner until his curiosity for the science of training led him to change his studies, and to enrol in the Faculty of Physical Science at the University of Udine.
Enrico completed a Master’s Degree in Physical Activities and Sports Science, expanding his technical / scientific knowledge with a thesis on Retül, the state-of-the-art instrumentation for a kinematic analysis of pedaling, a practice destined to become the reference point for bike fitting worldwide.
In 2009 Enrico founded 4Performance with Niklas Quetri, while also collaborating with the Retül training center in Boulder (Colorado) for several years.
The growth of 4Performance continues in Europe, with seminars in Germany and England where it’s rated amongst the best international bike fitting companies.
Combining a wealth knowledge of materials and a regular on both road and MTB bikes, something which is indispensable to understanding and then relaying the correct feelings, Enrico has helped many athletes to achieve both national and international results, working on both bike positioning and athletic training.
With ten years’ experience riding with a powermeter and using the best software for data analysis, Enrico is a very detailed technician whose strengths are an infinite passion for what he does and extreme attention to detail, two indispensable gifts to help athletes reach their goals.
Enrico devotes his free time to getting out on the bike and hitting the trails or riding home roads. Riding with Enrico means participating in an accelerated course on cycling and the history of components!
